Since the beginning, Salty Dog has been dedicated to creating a salon experience that's all about your beloved pets. After taking over in 2024, Kacie has continued the salon’s tradition of kindness, patience, and high-quality care of the Salty Dog salon from the previous owners, Tina and Angie. We work all pets straight through, with no waiting in cages. Pets feed off human energy, and in our calm and positive atmosphere, you can rest assured that your pet will feel comfortable and less anxious.

Our highly skilled team members have all been hand-selected to be Salty Dog stylists or assistants and are expertly trained as well as certified in Canine and Feline CPR! We believe in bettering ourselves and the pet grooming industry by regularly attending grooming seminars and continuing our professional education. 

Salty Dog takes extra steps to make sure your pet is safe. Pets are always supervised with hands-on attention. We use multi-point quick-release halter systems to make sure your pet is comfortable and safe, and even offer hip sling and hammock systems to help support senior pets or those with orthopedic issues. Our tables and tubs are on hydraulics and lower all the way to the floor so pets do not put stress on their joints jumping up or down. We use only hand blow driers (complete with ear protection for your pet) and never kennel-dry to eliminate the risk of heat stress. The salon is kept cool and sanitized. All of our professional grade shampoos are gentle and non toxic.
